Best In PC Hardware 2010

This is the #1 selected Hardware for the extreme gamer/enthusiast and most recommended by and CPU magazine. Some of you might say no way, but they have reasons behind each chosen product. I will put down a brief of why and the runner ups. Here we go:

-Winner-Intel Core i7-875k- $342
They chose this processor over the others since it has capability of reaching 4.0Ghz with a mild aftermarket cooler, Turbo Boost reaches up to 3.6Ghz (2.93 stock), and you can overclock this wihtout adjusting related QPI speeds.

-Runner up- AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition- $229
Reason behind is cost efficient of only $229 (Retail), uses AMD Turbo Core, each core's frequency is set at 400Mhz (compared to X4 at 200Mhz), and you can use AMD's OverDrive utility to manage the Turbo Core settings.

-Winner-EVGA X58 FTW- $289
This motherboard includes features such as: Evga's EVbot for handheld overclocking, 8 phase power design, and onboard diagnostics LED readout. Has 6Gbps SATA compatibility, 2 USB 3.0 ports, and holds up to 24GB DDr3 @ 1600Mhz.

-Runner up- Gigabyte 890FXA-UD7-$245
This board offers an XL-ATX form factor in which supports up to 4way- Crossfire, total of 5 PCI-Express X16 slots available, and 2 USB 3.0 ports. AM3 Chipset Ready.

-Winner-NVidia GeForce GTX 460 (1gb)-$200
This card offers 32 ROP's, 256-bit memory controller, 336 streaming processors, and only 8.25 inches in length.

-Runner up-AMD Radeon HD 6850-$179
AMD Ati's 6850 was a top performer in terms of price/performance, Barts GPU took 25% of the engines to compute, core clock of 775Mhz, and 32 color ROP units.
